Oh wow have I been slacking!! Well here it goes. Mackenzie is now nine months old and is she living life to the fullest. She loves to spend her days playing on her play mat all by herself. If you even dare to go over and try playing with her, she will crawl away and return when you leave. Silly girl. She is now eating most foods that we are eating for dinner. The only things I am staying away from is fish as I am not sure if she would have reactions. Her absolute favorite foods are chicken, steak, avocado, whole wheat waffles and yogurt. She is still breast feeding however, full time, which is great because we are close to reaching our one year goal! We are not walking yet, but when Mackenzie is holding on to the table, couch, or wall, she uses them to walk across that part of the room and it is so amazing to watch. New words are forming and her first word was...ready for it...DOGGIE!! It was absolutely amazing to hear and so wonderful to experience it with her. I cannot wait for all the other words that will be said by her (hopefully none of them are bad)! The funniest thing to watch Mackenzie do is get mad when she cannot turn a page in her book or reach something on the table. She has yet to realize that all she needs to do is move along the table and she will be able to reach what ever it is she is trying to reach.
We had Mackenzie's nine month photo shoot and it is so amazing to see the difference what three months is. Her hair is longer, her eyes are bigger, her smile is even more perfect, her personality is bigger then ever! Now people are saying she looks more like me then her daddy, which is great, but I personally do not see it. Oh, tooth number eight has made an appearance and it sure came with a lot of pain and sleepless nights. We went from sleeping all night long to waking up a few times and all you want to do is take the pain away, but you know it is not possibly. No amount off kisses and cuddles could make Mackenzie happy. She sure does love my kisses and cuddles though!! She is slowly becoming a daddy's girl which is great because I love watching the two of them playing and having conversations about, well nothing, it just simply melts my heart.
I cant believe that she is nine months old and coming up on her first birthday. It feels like just yesterday we were finding out I was pregnant and here are starting to plan her first birthday. Where has time gone?? One thing I know is that my love for her just keeps on growing and growing!!!
